You touch a willing creature who isn’t wearing armor and they are magically shrouded in a set of battle armor. The armor is weightless, but physically tangible. The target’s base AC becomes 18. The spell ends if the target tries to doff the magical armor, if the target tries to don any other armor, or if you dismiss the spell as an action.

Living Bloat

Duration: Concentration, up to 10 minutes.

Choose a creature you can see within range. The creature must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or its flesh begins to bloat and putrefy. Until the spell ends, the creature gains 1 level of exhaustion at the start of each of its turns, to a maximum of 5 levels of exhaustion. The exhaustion is removed when the spell ends. The creature is vulnerable to slashing damage. If the creature takes slashing damage, its skin is split open and the putrid gases are released. It takes 4d8 acid damage and the spell ends on the creature. At the end of each of its turns, the creature can make another Constitution saving throw. On a success, the spell ends on the creature.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, you can target one additional creature for each slot level above 4th. The creatures must be within 30 feet of each other when you target them.

A beam of flashing colors bursts from your hand in a 5-foot-wide, 60-foot-long line. Each creature in the line must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 5d6 damage, which is split equally among five energy types: fire, acid, lightning, poison, and cold On a successful save, creatures take half as much damage of each type.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 4th.

You form a small flashing crystal that bursts into a 20-footradius fiery storm at a point you choose within range. Each creature in the area must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 2d8 radiant damage and is blinded On a successful save, creatures take half damage and are not blinded.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the radiant damage increases by ld8 for each slot level above 4th.

You summon forth a 10-foot-tall pillar 5 feet across covered in runic inscriptions from the depths of the Accursed Archive. You or any creature can attempt to read from the obelisk while within 5 feet of it as an action. The reader must make a Wisdom saving throw. If they succeed, they gain advantage on Wisdom ability checks and saving throws for one hour. If they fail, they are struck blind for one minute.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the duration of the blindness increases to 10 minutes and the duration of advantage increases to 2 hours.
